Product lines are used to add all product lines manufactured by the organization (or an organization’s suppliers) to the application. Product line refers to a line of the same parts that have slightly different characteristics, such as wheels, markers, cases, and acids. Other names for product lines include product types, item groups, product groups, commodity codes, product family, etc. Each part number configured in the SmartSolve application must be attached to a product line.
User Rights
The following rights must be assigned to a user for that user to manage or view product lines:
